Catalysts and symptoms are typically signposts to something else, something deeper and something more significant. They can be an inner knowing (voice) that we have not been listening to, or it could be a calling to a new lifestyle or vocation.
Although coaching is not therapy it is helpful for us to explore the catalyst of the change as well as the resistance to that change. The thoughts, feelings, objections and desires are often very telling, and can be very insightful when we have an advocate who is willing and able to listen and offer a compassionate, safe and objective space in which to explore.
There are always gifts available...
within our troublesome situations even though it might not feel like it. If we do not strike when the iron of change is hot we run the risk of slipping back into old patterns and habits and we loose the opportunity to evolve, expand and transform ourselves into something newer, more exciting and more fullfilling.
A coach is ready, willing and able...
to go to those awkward and uncertain places with you. Not to judge, blame or fix you, rather to stand by you no matter how messy and uncomfortable they may be. Places that a friend, spouse or business associate cannot go with you, becuase in most cases they simply want you back the way you were. And for you -- there is no going back.
My vision as a coach is very simple to... to pick you up, brush you off, stand with you in the circle of your circumstances, and send you on your way.
