We are collectively facing very transitional and often challenging times, revealing itself in unique and profound ways: rising energy costs, declining employment, increased divorce, financial unrest, political and business breakdowns and emerging global marketplaces.
As people become more self-aware and self-actualized, many of the old ways are not working any longer. Are you realizing that at the same time there are more choices and technology available, you are feeling less and less connected to yourself and others, in significant human ways.
In 1935-98 Eldridge Cleaver said "What we're saying today is that you're either part of the solution, or you're part of the problem.” I also recall a definition of insanity as “doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.”Wayne Dyer speaks about not dying with our song inside; finding our voice, living our purpose and discovering the messenger inside that has something important and passionate to say, or learn. We have a world filled with creative souls stifling their voices for the sake of not rocking the boat, fear of survival, or not taking a risk that might prove to be flawed or incomplete.
We have amazing technology and information available at the touch of a button yet at the same time we are bombarded with more noise, distractions, fear, radio-waves, deception and confusion. Have we become like the frog in the pot of boiling water not realizing the temperature is slowly rising until he is fully cooked?
Will we wake up voluntarily and jump, climb or crawl out of that boiling pot, or do we need to be poked and prodded just a little bit more? One of the roles of a Life Coach -- Poke, Poke, Prod, Prod!
